The chamber ensemble Prague Instrumental Soloists
(1992) is one of the finest Czech string ensembles which performs in a style and
instrumental composition corresponding especially to Baroque, pre-classical and
classical music; the ensemble is formed by seven string instruments, trumpet,
and harpsichord. Nevertheless, after a necessary instrumental complementation,
the ensemble also interprets romantic and late romantic music (Dvořák, Janáček,
Suk) as well as twentieth century music (Hindemith, R.Strauss, Barber, Martinů).
During its existence the ensemble has performed at several hundreds of concerts,
mainly in Prague, in the Czech Republic as well as other countries (Spain,
Germany).

Pražští instrumentální sólisté
(1992) patří k předním českým smyčcovým souborům, hrajícím ve stylově
odpovídajícím početním obsazení (7 smyčců, trubka, cembalo) především
hudbu barokní, předklasickou a klasickou. Při nezbytném větším obsazení
je však připraven k interpretaci hudby romantické a pozdně romantické (Dvořák,
Janáček, Suk) a hudby 20. století (Hindemith, R.Strauss, Barber, Martinů).
Za dobu své existence soubor provedl několik stovek koncertů hlavně v Praze,
v České republice i v zahraničí (Španělsko, Německo).
