The CONCERTINO Praha – ensemble of soloists , founded in Prague 1995, it brings together a number of young graduates from some of Europe’s leading colleges of music, specialize in repertoire of the late Baroque and Classical periods. Using modern instruments, The Concertino Praha is dedicated to the recreation of authentic, historically accurate Baroque performance practices. Their tireless pursuit of stylistic purity coupled with minute attention to detail has resulted in distinguished critical acclaim. The debut of t his young ensemble place on November 1995 during the inauguration celebrations of the “Building of Human Rights” in Strasburg, rance, under the presence of the Czech President Václav Havel.
In 1997ensemble won the hearts of the Spanish public during the IX. International Festival of Music in Ubeda. Artistically challenging was also the cooperation of Concertino Praha with Mannheimer Music Academy in Decmber 1996 (Arvo Pärt: Berliner Messe 1992, Heinrich Schütz: Missa Brevis 1657).
The CONCERTINO Praha - ensemble of soloists appears regularly at the various Czech and foreign music festivals.

CONCERTINO Praha je instrumentální soubor mladých hudebníků různých národností, z nichž všichni jsou absolventy různých významných evropských hudebních škol. Těžištěm repertoáru tohoto souboru je hudební literatura období vrcholného baroka a klasicismu. Hudebníci CONCERTINA Praha hrají výhradně na moderní nástroje, avšak jejich cílem je znovuoživení dobové interpretační praxe.
Soubor vznikl v roce 1995 a od té doby se díky své stylově čisté a detailně precizní interpretaci setkal s četnými ohlasy kritiky u nás i v zahraničí.
CONCERTINO debutovalo 6. listopadu 1995 při slavnostním otevření „Budovy lidských práv“ ve francouzském Štrasburku za přítomnosti presidenta České republiky Václava Havla. Za velmi přínosnou byla považována umělecká spolupráce souboru s Hudební akademií Mannheim v prosinci 1996.
Za dobu svého dosavadního působení účinkoval tento soubor na mnohých domácích i zahraničních hudebních festivalech. S mimořádným ohlasem se setkalo vystoupení na IX. Mezinárodním festivalu hudby a tance ve španělské Ubedě v roce 1997.
